Election News

 

The election dates for 2024 are as follows:

Tuesday August 6, 2024 – Primary Election

Tuesday November 5, 2024 – General Election

the township clerk at 231-861-5342.

You may leave a message for a return phone call.

 

You have several options to vote:

In person on the day of election. Polls are open from 7:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
By absentee ballot. You may call the clerk for an application for an absentee ballot.

If you request an absentee ballot, please be sure to include your phone number on

the application in the event the clerk needs to contact you.

 

 

Early voting will be available at the following locations and times:

 

Oceana County Courthouse

100 State Street Hart, MI 49420

 

 

Dates and times:

Saturday, July 27, 2024 to August 4, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday, October 26, 2024 to November 3, 2024, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

 

Early voting allows Oceana County registered voters to come into

the courthouse and vote by marking a ballot and placing it in the

tabulator just like you would on election day.

 

Voter Registration Status

You may register online; at the Secretary of State’s Office, or the township clerk’s office. The web address is as follows for voter information.

Please do not wait until the last minute to register.

 

Absentee Voting

You can request an absentee ballot on line at Michigan Online Absent Voter Ballot Application (state.mi.us). You may also call the township clerk for information.

 

Canvassing for the early voting elections are as follows:

*Early voting precinct canvass for the Primary Election will take place

August 6, 2024 after 8 p.m. at 100 State St., Hart, MI 49420.

*Early voting precinct canvass for the General Election will take place

November 5, 2024 after 8 p.m. at 100 State St., Hart, MI 49420.
